Just like her pop princess competitor Britney Spears, Christina started singing at an early age and performed in 'The Mickey Mouse club'. She did some minor recording until she it it big with her self titled debut album in 1999 with the single 'Genie In a bottle' catapulting her to stardom. She has won various awards including a Grammy for best new artist.
